Link has the Master Sword in his possession which has a few magical properties. It is capable of sealing evil, and repelling it. Anyone who is not pure of heart physically cannot touch the blade.

As I will be playing Link with Fi's spirit inside the Master Sword, he has the ability to dowse for items and people.
